Tim joined Borchers Trust Law as an Associate Attorney in 2017. He serves clients in estate planning, probate, trust administration, tax and real estate work which is complemented by a background in family law. As a trusted advisor to families throughout the MetroWest and greater Boston area, Tim takes a holistic approach to each individual’s long-term estate planning goals.

Prior to joining the firm, Tim was the founder and Principal Attorney at McGee’s Law in the North End, where he focused his practice on all aspects of family law, estate planning, probate and small business representation.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University in 2005 where he was a 4-year football and track & field letterman. After discovering a passion for law, he proceeded to graduate from Suffolk University Law School in 2010 where he played a significant leadership role in SPILG (Suffolk Public Interest Law Group) and was part of a law clinic representing clients at the Probate and Family Court in Suffolk County.

Tim is passionate about working with families to help preserve assets for future generations. He has experience drafting marital trusts and other planning documents that help reduce the tax burdens for hard working families. Tim’s background in family law also makes him uniquely suited to the challenges that arise with blended families and in prenuptial agreement representation.

Tim and his wife, Tiffany, live in Needham, Massachusetts with their daughter and two cats. During his free time, Tim enjoys running, road trips and playing tennis.
