Founder and Partner Tim Borchers and Associate Joshua Overton were selected to the 2026 edition of Massachusetts Super Lawyers. Tim was named to the Super Lawyers list in Estate Planning & Probate for the third consecutive year, and Josh was honored for the first time on the Rising Stars list.

Tim counsels individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates in Massachusetts and New Hampshire on succession planning, preserving wealth and property, income and estate taxation, and the administration of complex estates. He has received numerous honors for his thoughtful, client-centric approach, including a place on Boston Magazine’s Top Lawyers list and an AV Preeminent® designation from Martindale-Hubbell. Most recently, he was named a finalist in the Legal Innovators and Disrupters category of the New England Legal Awards.

Josh has become the firm’s go-to attorney for estate and trust administration matters, helping families transfer their wealth to the next generation. Working closely with clients, he settles estates carefully and efficiently with meticulous attention to detail. In addition to preparing and filing all of the firm’s probate court actions, Josh documents post-death estate and trust transfers, the creation of trust shares, and the appointment of trustees. He has also taken charge of estate and gift tax filings. Never one to shun a challenge, Josh takes on novel and difficult probate court equity petitions to remedy unresolved trust and probate issues.
