Joshua Overton, Esq., Associate
Joshua Overton practices in the areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration. He advises families and individuals on settlement matters; drafts and files probate, voluntary administration, and trust petition pleadings; develops goals and objectives for clients in estate planning conferences; and assists clients with estate tax filings. Bringing a fresh perspective and meticulous attention to detail, Josh strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver client-centered solutions.
Prior to joining Borchers Cusano Trust Law, Josh gained experience in trust and estate law as an Associate at Cape Law in Mashpee, Massachusetts. He has additional experience in trademark and intellectual property law as an Associate for Hagstrom Law Group in New Bedford, Massachusetts and assisted discovery for complex litigation at King, Tilden, McEttrick & Brink in Braintree, Massachusetts.
Josh graduated from the University of Massachusetts School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2019), where he was the Executive Articles Editor of the UMass Law Review. He also earned a B.S. from Bridgewater State University (2016).
Josh is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Josh resides in Easton, Massachusetts. In his free time, Josh enjoys snowboarding, listening to audiobooks, and reading.
